World Population day was established in 1989 by the United Nations Development Programme. It is celebrated every year on 11th July to increase the awareness of the people towards the worldwide population issues such as the importance of family planning, including gender equality, poverty, maternal health and human rights.
World Nature Conservation Day is observed on 28th July all over the world with the objective of increasing awareness about and protecting the natural resources that the Earth is bestowed with.
